Glad that Dr Pipes is Veering to My View

Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose

Submitted by Singha (India), Dec 27, 2006 at 06:38

I used to be alarmed that even erudite scholars such as Dr Pipes was looking at non existent myth - oxymoron called 'moderate islam',

This article leads one to believe that Dr. Pipes has rightly given a quiet burial to the idea of moderate islam and that rigorous fight against Islamism is warranted.

Daniel Pipes replies:

This is not the first time a reader has discerned just such a "quiet burial" by me of moderate Islam.

No, I continue to believe it is the only long-term resolution of the horrors of radical Islam.
