Discrimination Against Turkiye

EU applies a racist discrimination against Turkish Republic. Based on South Cypriot Greek Goverment's political and economical demands and reviews, EU tries hard to corner Turkiye with outrageous conditions. Here, EU goes too far by keeping a continious pressure on Turkiye regarding human rights, Kurdish problem, Cyprus problem, and other issues, which --as Turkish people-- we couldn't accept. Plus to what EU claims about Turkiye's membership, Germany's repulsive attitute against our country, the law that charges those who claims there was no Armenian genocite (that's what we believe) with two years of prison, and suspension of membership consultations reveal the fact that EU does not want to see Turkiye as the future member.

So, in Turkiye, public opinion is that EU takes revenge on the history. As the NATO member and strategic ally, we gave important and valueable support to EU during Cold War. In addition to military cooperation, Turkiye has contributed many valuable assets to European science, art, and literature. Take Mr.Orhan Pamuk, owner of Nobel Prize on literature, the European of the year (2006). As Turkish citizens, we never blame EU and fellow Europeans due to what we experienced in our common history. Since 18th century, Turkiye has been trying to develop good relations with European countries. Especially, after our Freedom War, Atatürk, founder of TR, tried to resume political and economical relations with Europe.

So, in this new era, instead of constructing a common future and taking advantake of Turkiye's potential, EU prefers to push Turkiye away because most of Europeans see Turkish people as "second class human" and barbarians. No need to remind EU about their dirty imperialist past, how they genocided and consumed Asia and Africa... No need to remind Germany about their NAZI past, or No need to blame France due to its war crimes in North Africa and Vietnam. What we want to do is to have a common future with other European nations. However, due to racist , unacceptable and impudent nature of EU Administration, we can clearly see that it is not possible.

In this case, Turkiye has a right to act agains EU. For example, cancellation of Custom Regulations, applying strict visa regulations for EU citizens, cancellation of all integration laws and regulations (of which EU benefit), having good relationships with Russian Federation, USA, China Republic, Arabic countries, various European countries, and Asian countries... and so on.

So, having Turkiye member of EU would not bring us any bright future. That's what we Turkish people believe in. Therefore, we might have a great future without Europe. We will see you after ten years. While you Europeans experience economical and political crises, Turkiye will be living its Golden Age.
