This scurrilous plan to side-line Israel while they deliver a knife to her back must be seen by many for what it is; An outstanding example of how the US administrations treat her allies. Hold them accountable for the so called help the US delivers but when the political chips are down, throw them under the nearest bus. Israel must make it perfectly clear that the so called conference is a non starter. Handing the Golan over to Syria as a reward for supporting and funding the gang of thugs called Hezbollah while it trashes Lebanon is sickening.

As for the West Bank...is there a reason that Israel should hand over another launching pad? I mean other than satisfying the sick anti-semetic obsession of one James Baker. The ONLY functioning democracy in the middle-east must have some support if it is to be there to help the US when the little dictator in Iran shuts off the oil! Baker...are you really so shortsighted and so confident that Israel will always be there on the side of the US in the next round of terrorism? Your solution is a nightmare for the Republican party. People in search of a legacy would sometimes be better off to just shut up.
