Daniel recieves the usual treatment

Reader comment on item: Islam's Battle with a Hostile World

Daniel Pipes exile from American universities sounds all to familar. In the name of racial/ethnic sensitivity many have simply been asked not to participate in the debate on our campuses. Genuine diverisity if opinion is no longer desired it would seem. What is so shocking about this is that it is so very unamerican and it comes in a time where America must look to its founding principles and take strength in their universal truth. You can bet that your enemy's knowledge of his principles and his resolve to act on them is quite strong. If this were a war of wills, the reluctance to allow genuine diveristy of opinion would give comfort to your enemy, for it would show the evident contradiction of your founding principles, and therefore the division of your national will. While they took further comfort in the unity of their own.
