The point is: wearing a head scarf no big deal, but law enforcement must be able to recognise you face, so no burquas. No one can object to the fashion that a woman wears on her head. With the advent of Islamaphobia, any reference ti Muslims, Islam,Muhammed,etc may evoke strong reaction. After all, we have been terrorized by the Muslims for years. Infidels,Christians, Jews, little wonder that the mere appearence of Islamic pariphenalia is enough to cause anxiety, one can easily understand that a swaztika, hammer and sickle, and other symbols of repression can cause great anxiety from those terrorized by the Nazis and the Marxists. Insofar that the particular mode of dress is a terroristic uniform, it must be discouraged, I'm sure that if a Muslim woman knew that her appearance caused discomfort, she would choose not to wear it.
