Who pays for the caviar on Mr Baker's table?Reader comment on item: What Went Wrong with James A. Baker, III? Submitted by skeptic (United States), Dec 9, 2006 at 14:06 James Baker III has very close business ties to Saudi interests (plus he is their lawyer against the 9-11 victim's families). That pretty much sums up where his interests lie: not with the American nation, but with his arab patrons. Whose interest did he have in mind when drafting his "recommendations"? How could anybody choose HIM to decide on our future (i.e. of common, decent americans)? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
