Prostitution of the body was not the first; prostitution of the mind was. The con-man was there before the tart. If you are an ugly old man but you covet your daughter-in-law or your grand-daughter-in-law, just pretend that "Allah" has instructed you - as his "prophet" - to satisfy your lust: the "God told me to" defence of the priapic and amoral. I sneer when I read the word "Pakistan;" it means "land of the Pure" but supplied the legion of armed rapists of two hundred thousand women of Bangladesh in 1971. A far more apposite name would be "land of the impure." Good on Ibn Warraq for his intellect (sorely lacking in jihadists) and his COURAGE.
