truth is...Reader comment on item: An Unveiling: Separate, but Acceptable? Submitted by donvan (United States), Nov 22, 2006 at 08:15 The fact of the matter is, in non Muhammedian controlled states, non muslims make the laws and it is the responsibility and duty of all muslims living in that non muslim nation to obey the laws, keep order, support the police, provide for the common defense, even against other Muslims, reject violent teachings of Muhammed and his Islam, adapt your prayer and rituals to private and personal spaces, report any Muslims who advocate violence, work hard in school and make lots of money so you can pay your taxes and support us infidel folks in our old age. It seems unlikely that a head to toe body covering can enhance ones productivity so you can't wear one. If you do, you may be arrested and go to jail. The majority rules, we have respect for the minority, but majority still rules. There's other things you can not do, like marrying more than one women, if you do you may go to jail, hurting your wife and or children, if you do you may go to jail, violence in word or deed toward the US Government, if you do you may go to jail. Lots of other laws too. Forget the "Jihad" stuff. Killing yourself just to kill others is a murder-suicide, and a sign of mental illness. If your God tells you to do that, then we cannot accept that God . Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
