The New York Times complained that the Bush administrration had on the internet scanned documents of Saddam that showed his plans for nulear weapons and he was 1 year away from them and this was in the 1990's. The NYT was worried that someone would learn from these aged documents secrets about nuclear weapons. It was in the month of November 2006 before the election. It was an attempt at a scandal. There was other stuff found, stuff buried in a researcher's garden, vials of ricin etc. The media didn't want to report on it in case it made the Bush administration look OK.
