War With IranReader comment on item: Decision Time on Iran Submitted by John R (United States), Nov 5, 2006 at 14:48 War is certainly an option. I've always believed that with the Iranian crisis, but I would give diplomatic negotiations and sanctions more chance. If things get worse than what you describe, then I'd say go to war. Going to war, however, is easier than done in our country fissured by political party with regards to war in the Middle East. In general, Democrats are opposed the war in Iraq while Republicans support it. And at the moment our politicians, Bush and the Europeans sees going the war with Iran as impolitic, but the polical environment and public opinion would be better if the Iranian situation got worse. Also, going to war with Iran, we can take the cake and eat it too. We make us and the world safer, we move steps to lessening Islamic radicalism, and Iran is a rich trove for oil.
