Well to be frank with you I have actually listened 2 the lecture by Hamza Yusuf and found that in my opinion he is not radical and in fact he makes it clear that Islam is tolerant than most religions. However there seems to be some misconception in the West that Islam is some kind of religion which spreads hatred and religion by the Sword. Sure if you spread Islam that way, you get a one way ticket 2 hell.

He actually condemns the killing of innocence, be it an innocent Jewish child, Chinese child or Christian CHild. I really feel that you are in no situation 2 b telling ppl if they are a good muslim, a radical muslim, an extreme Muslim, a bad Muslim or what type of Muslim they are. That is in the Hands of God to determine.

You are not a Muslim, and you are by no means God, you are not some appointed shaykh or any thing to be telling ppl what type of Muslim they are. The only quiz which i really take into consideration is what my wardorobe says about me or if i am a downtown girl or uptown. ...!?!

Anything else regarding am i a Good Muslim or not well everybody knows their own status and place. I know where i am standing on the scale of being a good muslim or not. Although the best judge is God. Who could argue with authority like that?
