Mr R, If your statement were true, and that Christianity was right at some point, but later humans goofed it up, then I have a few questions for you.

First, a statement. It would take a conspiracy of more than epic proportions to have corrupted the Old Testament enough to include all of the prophetically fulfilled historical truths, as well as the vast number of prophecies which were fulfilled by the Messiah, Jesus Christ. My first question is this: is it the Christians who corrupted the Old Testament, or was the OT already false? If is was already false, how could Christianity have ever been true at any point in time? Christianity is built upon the OT, and Jesus himself preached from it, not to mention pointing out where the OT writings were speaking of Himself. If the OT was corrupted by Christians, how do you explain the fact that the Hebrew OT of today is the same text type (Masoretic Text) found in over 1330 existing ancient OT texts, including those found in Qumran, which were placed there during the Maccabean wars at sometime near 140 BC? I'd like to know when the OT became corrupted.

Thanks!

Drew
