Well if Muslims were to follow the actual Quran then there probably would be no poor in Muslim contries for example Shiahs give around 13% of their wealth to the poor (and more). The Quran ORDERED the killing of certain groups that were around 1400 years ago not the people around today so you could take your out of context verses and research them
