Dr Pipes,
There is no question in my mind that Islam has brought the fairness and the justice to the whole word and I guess the whole world lost alot by fact that Muslim are weak.
There are alot of things ,

1- Muslims have brought the light to Europe in the Middle ages . When European saw that Islam respect people mind and don't restrict free thinking the started to free themselves from the distorted values taught by the church " I do not say that Bible is worng because I believe it is the word of God , but of course some people change some words to blind others in the name of God "
2- In the middle ages when Christian started their crusade , Muslims and Jews was slautered in Millions in the name of Christianity , at that time we "Muslims " were the only shelter for Jews and minorities from the Crusade and Jews also now that.

* In short we feel that the message of Islam is a Universal message and it should be conveyed to all people and of course as part of Islam every body is free to believe in what they want to believe in . History tell us that when Muslims were is Spain they were fair and they did not force christian to join Islam , but when Muslim became *week and no longer govern Spain , they were persecuted , humilated , and kill " for the they are Muslims .
* So the whole world lost because we Muslim are weak , but I promise the whole world when mulsim become stronger " and I see it coming " . Then we are going to fill the world with Justice , we will respect human being " of all faiths as we always do ".
* So the documentory help people to Understand a little bit a bout Islam , and I think we people of all faiths should not incourage hatred to other faiths....
