Multiculturalism in America

Reader comment on item: Europe vs. America
in response to reader comment: European cultural chauvinism vs. American multiculturalism

Submitted by blaize27 (United States), Oct 9, 2006 at 01:09

The United States has only been a "multicultural" country since the enactment of the 1965 Immigration Act which has allowed millions of Third World foreigners into the country which has completely distorted American culture. Furthermore, the concept that America is "multicultural" is an entirely alien concept along with "diversity is strength" which are based upon the Marxist ideology of Political Correctness.

Prior to 1965, the United States was a predominantly white, Anglo-European, English-speaking, Christian country. That is the root of American culture and carries forward Western Civilization across the Atlantic from Europe. The belief of "multiculturalism" that all cultures are "equal" is a false concept since not all cultures are equal. The ideals expressed in the United States of equality, liberty, individualism, freedom, and the like are ideals based upon a European heritage and are the basis of the American republic.

Yes, the United States is a republic, not a democracy. The incorporation of foreign Third World cultures, ideals, and beliefs into American culture under "multiculturalism" to replace the Anglo-European culture of America is what will bring the United States to the status of the Third World. "Multiculturalism" is an attack on the historical culture and heritage of the United States, its people, and the American way of life.
