Submitted by jack hawkins (United Kingdom), Oct 8, 2006 at 06:26 then surely you realise the problem. since the rest of the world does not believe the Koran is the word of God, there is bound to be conflict. there is plenty of good evidence that the Koran is not the word of any god. there is plenty of evidence that many elements of Islam are taken straight from paganism. so why should rational society agree to the demands of essentially a cult just on the say so that they have the word of "god" (Hindu Moon God or otherwise)? how can rational society allow the irrational on the unproveable grounds that some book is the word of god? how many religions claim to be the true religion - all of them of course. and most of them mutually incompatible. the brainwashed don't realise they are brainwashed, even the educated professionals that are brainwashed!
