CAIR's Twisted Stand on Academic FreedomReader comment on item: CAIR's Twisted Stand on Academic Freedom Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Oct 3, 2006 at 05:27 Dear Prof Pipes, I can only sympathise with the plights of professors Douglas Riles and Thomas Klocek. May I ask if Osama-bin-Laden and his followers, both overt and covert, stand on moral high ground, why they are hiding like thieves, thugs? Why do not they declare an open war against their supposed enemies? CAIR should be asked , in how many Muslim majority/Islamic countries academic freedom is available? May I request CAIR leadership to introspect before passing comment or judgement on others.
