outrage is subsidingReader comment on item: Europe vs. America Submitted by Owen Camp (United States), Jan 14, 2003 at 20:52 Dear Daniel,The outrage is subsiding because of our govt. Instead of immediately: 1) closing our borders, 2) ending the "Visa Express" in Saudi Arabia, 3) firing Freeh & Tenet; what did our govt do? 1) Bush lied to the country when he said "Islam means peace" 2) They made getting on an airplane harder than getting a job at the white house. While refusing to profile passengers! 3) dragged their feet about getting to the bottom of it (it took over a year to appoint an independent commission. As if Congress couldn't do the job properly themselves) 4) named Henry Kissinger to chair the commission (if that doesn't spell "cover-up") Do you agree?
