well i have been following Melanie Phillips blog and her observations concerning our Parental Country are sadly coming true. I work at 2 hospitals here as a volunteer and have noticed several muslim nurses wearing a head covering. They are great people as far as I am concerned and very caring towards our patients.

Having been raised Catholic I well remember women and the covering of the head and have no problem with that. It is a real shame that this burqa has come into existence because it does not reflect a religous belief but a demeaning of women. It represents control issues not love......
