Ken Sanes on unAmerican EuropeReader comment on item: Europe vs. America Submitted by Frank Vosler (United States), Jan 14, 2003 at 13:23 Dr. Pipes,Mr. Sanes' distinctions sounded a little screwed up to me. While hedonism in the new left might seem "individualistic", their ideological justification would go back to the socialist arguments of class warfare plus war against God and His moral code. I, too, hold that there are three powerful ideologies that have world rule ambitions. They are communism, militant Islam, and the devotees of world government--mostly liberals. This latter appears closest to achieving its goal. Anti-Christianity is the common element in all three, fueling their hatred for the U.S. Yours, Frank Vosler Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
