Anti-Americanism: spontaneous reaction or ideology?

Evidence of the transmission of anti-American sentiments internationally is in the simple fact that people repeat the same exact words over and over again everywhere.

If they do happen to muster the patience to stop and listen to any defense of the American position, it is only to make a show of politeness, never with a real intention of listening. They are convinced they already know all there is to know.

Useful reading is "The Soviet Propaganda Machine" by M.Ebon: even though it stops at 1987, it shows for example how Lenin paid Willi Munzenburger to set up pacifist fronts for Soviet concerns way back in the 1930's. Another of many good books is Vaszonyi's "America's 30 Years' War: Who is Winning?".
