way around. Within which war is as unthinkable as the idea of the UK
invading France is now...."

I am glad we have friends in the UK. Reading your comments, I am reminded
how deeply Utopianism runs in Europe. It seems many Europeans believe the
Second Coming/End of History has arrived.

I am reminded of the Kellogg-Briand Pact in the 1920s, which effectively
outlawed war. Preposterous.
