As an Italian, I apologize to the United StatesReader comment on item: Europe vs. America Submitted by Gabriel Grosso (United Kingdom), Jan 14, 2003 at 07:05 I learned from Daniel Pipes's book that in Italy, one person out of four thinks that the Americans deserved the 9/11 attacks. I aplogize to all Americans. I live in London where public opinion is anti-American. However, the British army is already on its way to the Middle East and PM Tony Blair is pro-American. Not everybody in Europe is anti-American. Like you have said, left-wingers and religious fanatics are both in Europe and America.
