What can we as a country do?

An insightful article. what can we, as Americans, do to recitify this problem?

It is all the more reason to neutralize Saudi Arabia by having an US friendly secular govt in Iraq. Iraq has much potential to supply world energy needs.

The other option is to focus on building capacity with central Asian republics with energy potential and Russia. Then we can marginalize Saudi Arabia and their Wahhabi brand of fundamentalism.

I hope President Bush considers all options and represents our interest.
