Failure of 'Moderate' Muslim organizationsReader comment on item: Omran Salman v. CAIR and MPAC Submitted by Ezra Ben-Meir (Israel), Sep 16, 2006 at 04:36 The issue of Muslim organizations vis a vis moderates or extremists is well mirrored by the efficiency of their organizations. Of extremist Muslim organizations, and their funding, the world is only too well versed. Such cannot be said for Moderate Muslim organizations. An organization proclaiming itself as moderate is insufficient- what is required is for other both Muslim and non-Muslim organizations to recognize them as such. Where is their voice? From where is their funding? Where are such moderate Muslims? The extremist Muslim curse of violence and murder will only be curbed by such moderates.
