Your analysis sounds plausible, but is not complete. you get to a certain point, which is that Evangelical Christians DO expect Israel to be attacked by a large number of nations. WHAT YOU FAIL TO MENTION IS THAT WE, THE CHRISTIANS are to be there to DEFEND ISRAEL.

The operative Scripture is "He who blesses you I will bless, he who curses you,I will curse." God is speaking to His beloved Israel, and it is the Christians' great awareness that we are never to be anything BUT a blessing to Israel. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? Or do you have to maintain that Israel will always be alone in the world?

It was and remains God's intention that the whole world be saved THROUGH Israel..so the evangelical Christians realize that and DO NOT WANT TO SEE IT attacked and destroyed, but rather, when it IS attacked and VICTORIOUS BECAUSE WE RALLY BEHIND IT.
