Dear Dr. Pipes,
I understand that the costs quoted include all aspects of security, not only the payroll for the screeners.
I have great regard and respect for your analyses and conclusions, but as an industrial engineer myself it seems to me that you are oversimplifying this one and reaching a possibly invalid conclusion.

I am not assuming anything, merely using the information in the article I quoted. Also, I discuss "security" not "screeners."
