...I am a layman, yet I find your theory of 'repalcement theology" as somehow voiding God's Convenents is ridiculous at best.

Of course the Catholic Church has embraced this perverted theology. They have also complied with every ruling government and survived with their properties and wealth in total. They have always agreed to maintain control of their flock and avoid dissension and or rebellion. They would not speak out against the current ruling force and be left alone. "Render to Caesar that wish is Caesar's". Some today may refer to that tactic as appeasement. Let us not forget that it was also easy to promote that theory since the Jews were dispersed after centuries of attempts to eliminate them as a people.

To accept the rebirth of the Nation of Israel as dumb luck of a political manuever is to eliminate God and His All-Knowing, All-Powerful nature. When is the last time we have seen the sword as a weapon of war. I remind you of Nick Berg and Paul Johnson being beheaded by Muslim terrrorists via the internet. I also remind you of Rev 20:4 "Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands."

.I suggest that for all time since Christ, we have tried to identify the coming of the Anti-Christ and Nations. Most recently Russia and the MAD doctrine of recent times and China with it's million man army. Did anyone see a mass of people who worship a moon-god named allah and believe in conversion by threat of death or propose death to any who disagree with their doctrines? (See Danish cartoons). And obtain WMD's as a leverage tool.

Yes, I would advise when and if you see the Dome of the Rock fall, you might consider climbing down off your throne of intellectual aloofness. Whether by act of war or earthquake or however, it WILL occur or God is a liar. The Anti-Christ must present himself there to defile and desecrate the Temple. Or God is a liar.

To suggest that it is beneficial for today's Christian to desire a rush to the end-times is to promote another lie of God, tfor is His wish that none should perish but all come to the knowledge of Him. There are still a lot of candidates. However, todays American Churches are more interested in bastardizing the Gospel to sell more tickets on the "Prosperity Express". I do not need to name those ministries, but, give more to them and get more from God is their message. (TBN is wanting to carry their gospel into Arab countries. Hal Lindsey's and Zola Levitt's ministries have pulled out because the programmers for TBN fear upsetting the Muslims if anti-Islamic messages are perceived. CRAP. The simple message of Jesus is anti-Islam, I'm sure). Compromising the Word of God hurts all, it does not make the medicine go down easier.

My point, it will not matter who or what party is in power. It does not matter when. It does not matter if Pre, Mid, or Post -tribulationist. It will not matter if this country supports Israel or not! It will happen as written, or GOD IS A LIAR. The Jews will be accounted for. It is written. They will come to see God wrote Chapter 2. -The NEW Testament. Jesus will return this time as their Redeemer. That is the contract with God and His People. See Revelations to start. Just who do you think the 144,000 are? If it does not happen as such, God is a liar.
