Okay, so my last comment didn't stir up any controversey. Shall I try again?
I'm not sure, but the last time I read the Bible I ran across the story of Moses and how he argued with G-d until the Man upstairs convinced him to do his bidding. Seems to me that in that story, though, He did give the Israelites the land that is now Israel. I'm not going to be the one to deny the Israelis their due. Look at what G-d did to them everytime they stepped out of line. I don't have 40 years left in me, but I sure wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life wandering in the wilderness.
Funny, too, Daniel, I never got polled on this. Seems like the only time I get polled is when some company wants something I'm really not interested in. This poll, however, even though I was excluded, I will agree with. Since Israel was established, they have done more with that land than any Arab ever thought of doing. They did it without that Shir'a(sic) law thing where women are dressed in tents and men where women's dresses and dirty diapers on their heads.
Seems to me, the Israelis have done more with less, not only with the land but their society, their technology, thier world, if you, making the rest of the "world", their opponents in the Middle East, the Islamofacisit community more that just passingly jealous. Couple that with this Wahba-what-cha-ma-call-it, degredation of Islam and you have a hooligans that need to be busted back into the 7th century where they seem to want to live.
As for me, I wish the Israelis the best and support them in the reduction of the number of terrorists within the boundaries of Israel. Their soldiers are some of my heroes.
