Need to get facts rightReader comment on item: Which Privileges for Islam? Submitted by Essam (Canada), Sep 1, 2006 at 16:32 ... The Prayer room at McGill was given by the previous administration to Muslim students exclusively in recognition of the basic need of Muslims to pray five times a day. It was not a multi-faith room even though Muslims students at McGill welcomed such option. Most students at McGill are sympathetic with the Muslim students, staff, and faculty, but the new administration showed a lot of insensitivity to Muslims and little respect to diversity and multi-culturism that it brags about while undermines it in reality. I hope that people be accurate in their reporting on facts. The story about the Muslim students removing religious icons of other groups etc. is completely unfounded.
