Yes, I believe it is very dangerous. Aside from the possibility that these "allies" can change direction quicker than a Ferrari, there are more dangerous aspects to their friendship with Israel, even within their present perspective.

1. Israel's existence, to them, portends the end of the world.

2. They are insistent that the temple mount be scraped clean of the mosque which currently occupies the site. As the clock ticks, they will become more and more vocal about this issue. It is key to their prophetic interpretation. If Israel makes no move to accomplish this, they will eventually try to make it happen so that prophecy can be fulfilled. They believe it must occur within the lifetime of the generation which witnessed the establishment of Israel in 1948. Time is running out.

3. Israel's existence portends a worldwide crisis in which the final battle of Armageddon will occur, leading to the end of the world. They expect Israel to be attacked, not just as it has been before, but by the great powers of earth using the ultimate weapons. Not only do they expect it, they pray for it. They expect it to happen soon. They are hopeful each time they hear Russia supporting Iran in its nuclear quest. Some of their number occupy positions of power in U.S. civilian government and in the military. It is not beyond reasonable argument that some such characters would act to trigger this battle of Armageddon which they need to see happen to bring about the end of the world and final judgment.

Perhaps all this seems a bit esoteric and implausable. But I firmly believe it is necessary to be very aware of the hidden agenda which animates this group. For Israel to accept help from wherever it comes might in the end be very dangerous.
