Reader comment on item: Passing as Shi‘i in Iraq

My first thought while reading your comments about Sunnis passinng for Shi'i was to recollect how the Jews had to do similar things at the time of the inquisition. Also, at the time of the Muslim's heyday back when they were conquering the middle east, didn't many of the Jews have to hide their religion from the Muslims to save their lives? As the saying goes, what comes around goes around!
