Moussaoui at the British LibraryReader comment on item: How Consequential Are 9/11 Conspiracy Theories? Submitted by Diane (United States), Aug 17, 2006 at 19:02 I am suggesting that foreigners of dubious political leanings should not be allowed in the country, be they fascists, communists, or Islamists. You don't mean that either, I hope. It would undo 200+ years of American tradition of free political discourse. Marx's writings - whatever mischief they may have inspired - constitute an important advance in Western political thought. Only consider what mischief grew from Machiavelli's writing and Nietsche's. I don't think we want to go down this avenue... NB: The British Library is in the UK -- not subject to American immigration policies. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
