I must say I agree with you about having a very uncomfortable feeling with the Muslim community. I am a Christian, Roman Catholic to be exact and I have studied the Koran and history fo quite some time. I feel Islam is incompatable with Western Civilization as it is more than a religion. Islam is a self contained ideology which rejects the laws of men and by definition our liberal democracy. I have no trouble living side by side with Jews, Buddhists, Hindus etc. I do find Islam a problem though. Mohammad did command his followers to attack unbelievers and force conversion. He also told them it is not wrong to lie to unbelievers until the Muslims have the advantage. This anti-semetism rampant among Muslims and the Islamic world is a direct result of Mohammad's hatred for the Jews as they did not see him as a prophet.
It is also odd that although Muslims are committing murder all over the world from India to the United States, they somehow portray themselves as the victims! I believe that a huge percentage of the Muslim community in the United States and for that matter in Europe are nothng more than a fifth column which will strike at us at some point in a very big way. Isn't it odd that they hate our civilization but come here to live. I would never think of moving to an Islamic country because I object to their whole way of thinking. Why are they here?
The attack on unarmed Jewish women in Seattle is a tragedy and I stand with the Jews. We must learn from history and never allow what occurred in Germany during WWII to be repeated. I remember the old quote, when they came for the Jews I didn't say anything because I wasn't a Jew.... We must stand together against this new threat to our liberty and our lives.
