Does any one really believe that giving privileges as mentioned in this article to those groups mentioned is going to placate them?

I believe these "givers" are simply making fools out of themselves by contributing to a laugh parade of freebies while the receiving orgainzations rolls on the floor in laughter and see how far they can push our buttons before having to actually forget the pretense and go for the killing blow. This is their television, their theater, their sporting events and come to think of it, why not. They aren't even actually putting all that much pressure on us, we are actually giving it to them and asking, how much more please?
