Gaddaffi still eludes international law

If The Olympic terrorist raid against Israeli athletes was avenged by assassins, why hasn't the bombing of Pan Am Flight #103 been avenged by CIA or Mossad? "colonel" Muammar Gaddaffi has ordered abductions abroad, jailed dissenters at "home" in adopted Libya, sent tens of thousands of innocents to death and still is permitted to live with his billions of dinars. This almost makes me ashamed to be an American.

My brother Mark Lawrence Christopher Tobin was among the 270 killed in Lockerbie, Scotland, 1988, and despite my service as a lobbyist on Capitol Hill, and meetings with U.S. Sec. State Albright, US Ambassador Bill Richardson, and Nat. Sec. Adviser Sandy Berger, there has been no forcible removal from power of the dictator and international outlaw Gaddaffi. How is it that US Forces can capture the less murderous Saddam Hussein, and NATO capture Slobodan Milosevic but think that economic sanctions against a war criminal will hurt? The worst news for people following the case is that this "conservative" Bush-Cheney administration is expecting Libya to help the war on terrorism and permitting Exxon-Mobil, BP, Royal Dutch Shell, Amerada-Hess, Conoco-Phillips, Occidental Petroleum and Marathon to do business with the terrorist Gaddaffi, like Neville Chamberlain expecting a piece of paper to stop the militant Hitler and his underlings.
