For 'Abd al-Rahman and "covering of sins" and the word kaffir!!Reader comment on item: Muslim-Controlled Governments Subsidize Conversions of Kafirs Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jul 22, 2006 at 07:15 You never stop amazing me. You wrote: "What is the word for covering up sins?" Covering (up) means: Taghtiya (see Hans Wehr page 677B) Sins means: al-khataaya (see Hans Wehr page 248B. Khatiya (s.) So your "covering up sins" would be: taghtiyat al-khataaya. (you go and ask your Mullah about this one if he knows Arabic that is). Then you wrote: "Could it be a word that sounds like kaffir and has the same root?" As you can see that "taghtyat al-khataaya" has nothing to do with your liitle gem and nothing to do with the word Kaffir or with the root: KFR or with the Arabic word kafara (to cover) or the Arabic word kafr or village. So where did you learn about this nonsense from? I must say that whoever introduced you to Islam is either clueless or a liar and for sure is not Arabic speaker. But I can only blame you for not being more critical in your examination of Islam before you joined...
