... is that it is much easier to become a Muslim than a Jew, as the story notes:

"In contrast to Jewish conversions, which last months and often years, to become Muslim one must only convince the [Islamic] court that one's intentions are sincere and declare faith in Allah."

Make it hard for people to convert and, obviously, fewer will.
