Reader comment on item: Debating PBS's "Muhammad" Documentary

Submitted by Graham Spence (United Kingdom), Dec 20, 2002 at 11:13

Throughout the western world, Muslims enjoy the benefits of secular protection of their religious freedoms together with the financial benefits of western capitalist democracy. In the west, we have been fed the lie of a multi-cultural society, but the reality is that we in the UK for example have several societies that just happen to inhabit the same island.

The only time we mix is when money is changing hands. This is because our Muslim communities want it this way, and set up quasi-independent communities and organizations to demand equal rights, yet strangely enough, never equal responsibilities.

The aim of the Muslim part of our population is simply the ultimate domination of Islam, and the imposition of Shariah Law in the UK and the USA. The Muslim Parliament of Great Britain, a self-styled un-elected body that speaks for Muslims in the UK states this in their manifesto as the prime aim of Islam in the UK. By following the example of Mohamed, it is their duty to apply the stealth, consolidation and domination process specified in the Koran, and our governments must be aware of this. However, lessons learnt in Northern Ireland show that in times of international strife, these internal communities can easily become 5th columnists, and it is the beginning of this process that we now see. Whilst government bodies will understand this, care must be taken to keep peace at home, and they choose to do this by avoiding the awkward questions, and keeping the populace in the dark. Whilst this is undemocratic, exercising power in an undemocratic manner has never been a problem to our politicians, as America's recent elections show.

Mr. Sadiqi, founder of the Muslim parliament said in an article 15 years ago ..." within 20 years there will be concentration camps in Europe again, and I know who will be in them this time"

Events over the past two years show that he had a full understanding of the direction that events would take, and it is this that our governments are attempting to avoid. We all know about the internment of the Japanese in WWII, and how negatively history now views this. Our governments are simply trying to avoid this happening again by allowing the populace to believe that Islam is a religion of peace, when anyone with a perfunctory knowledge of the Koran, and understands the difference between the Meccan and Medinan periods of Mohamed life and the role that abrogation plays in Islam, knows this to be fundamentally untrue. However, anyone capable of understanding this also knows that every society has it's rednecks, and it would not take much to turn our urban centres into war zones. Remember that the 30 years of conflict in Northern Ireland was between members of the same religion, whose differences could be boiled down to three or four trivial aspects of worship.

Imagine what would happen if there was a total polarization of our Muslim and Non Muslim communities. From this vantage point, one can understand why our governments are in appeasement mode at home. The thought of Mosques surrounded by redneck pick up trucks with 20 mm cannons welded to the base-plate is not a pleasant one.

Having said that, it is our right, and more importantly our duty in a democratic society for each individual to examine the evidence and come to their own conclusions. My conclusions are simple, and are drawn directly from the teachings of the Koran, and the Muslim clerics I have read. Islam simply states that mankind has no right to make law, and only Allah has the right to make law. Any attempt to make law is against the will of Allah, and is therefore the work of Satan.

In the eyes of Islam, the document that I find the most beautiful piece of writing the world has ever produced, The American Constitution, is the work of Satan.

In short, Islam and democracy are mutually incompatible, not because of democracy, but because Islam is the only religion in the world where world domination and the destruction of the democratic process is the fundamental stated aim of that Theosophy.

The question we must ask is not should our dollars be spent on a programme, which show Islam in a good light. The question we must ask is whether our government is right to appease Islam at the moment. There will be plenty of time for the truth later.
