Beauty of Islam

During my service with the RAF in WW2, while stationed in Heliopolis, Egypt, I was a frequent visitor to the Museum, where I became friends with a Egyptian Professor doing research there.

In our many discussions the Professor told me a story of two birds. Two birds were sitting on a tree, watching two hunters with guns in the valley below.

"Listen to that man singing", said one bird, "he sings so beautifully that the other is crying. Look how the tears stream down his face".
"Never mind the song", said the other bird, "never mind the tears. Just watch what they are doing".
