Shielding Israel from Pressure

How odd that Massing assumes that the natural phenomenon of US pressure would be in favor of Israeli 'restraint'. Polls of Americans have shown, of course, massive support for Israel whatever it decides to do with the Palestinians. Naturally-occurring US pressure is in favor of expanding the War on Terror to wipe out Hamas and Hezbollah. Hard to tell a difference between 'insurgents/activists' in Gaza and Baghdad, as in fact they are all vile terrorists.
