To Nuray: Muhammad is not a good example

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: To Richard Lion heart: Jesus was not the founder of Christianity

Jesus came to fufill prophecy. Jesus came to establish the new convenant God promised humanity. Jesus lived like any other human being but was not a mere human. Jesus is sinless and getting married was not part of His mission. Jesus grew up in a family therefore knows what it takes to raise a family. Jesus is the author of life, the creator. He knows all that there is to know about human beings. Jesus was a carpenter by trade, just like his earthly guardian Joseph was. It is Jewish tradition for the head of the family to pass on his trade to his children. Jesus was abandoned by his followers because prophecy had to be accomplised:

Jesus invoke the prophet Zechariah, "You will all fall away," Jesus told them, "for it is written: ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.' "Mark 14:27; Zechariah 13:7).

How many times do I have to tell you Nuray, the life of Jesus is about fufilling prophecy. His birth was prophesized, so was His death and resurrection. The church does not make up any stories about Jesus,it is all in the Holy Bible. Salvation is in Jesus Nuray, nobody else.

Why do you follow someone like Muhammad? Muhammad had no witnesses. No one saw when he talked to that questionable angel. He had to use fear and the threat of death to spread his message. The caliphs who followed him also used the same method. Muhammad is not a good example for family values. Muhammad raped and married a nine year old child. If you have a nine year old girl would you give her away to a man Nuray? Please give me your answer on that.

Since the day he declared himself a prophet, Muhammad never worked. He supported himself by raiding villages and robbing caravans. You can even find that in the hadith and the koran. Muhammad told several false prophecies which did not come true, whic disqualifies him as a prophet. Moses killed that man to save the life of someone else, not for his own benefit. Muhammad massacred the Jews and Christians of Arabia, that is not the actions of a leader. These are rather the actions of a blood thirsty conqueror. Therefore Nuray it was not even logical to compare Moses to Muhammad. Moses spoke to God directly, Muhammad spoke to a questionable angel who was probably satan masquarading as the Archangel Gabriel.

Jesus is the example to follow. The basis of His teaching is love not hate. Muhammad did not love. He raped, robbed and murdered people. Jesus gave his life for us, what can be greater than that.

" This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:12-13
