So often it is said that "The Truth Hurts...", right before you get wacked across the head with it (truth). I think this situation justly deserves a "this might sting a bit" warning before any red-blooded American reads what was said outside the Israel embassy by muslims. It utterly amazes me, sort of, that this isn't all over the media and that the government isn't looking into (and shutting down) the web site of the I.T.S.
The truth of the matter is that we have yet to define our enemy (although it is becoming clearer by word of the administration) and until we do the government won't be cracking down hard on these treasonist/terrorist groups. Our direct plan of action should be an overhaul of our energy system so we can cut off our dependence on ME oil. If this means drilling in Alaska, get out the duct tape and put it over the mouths of the liberals and hippies and drill away. I understand that isn't plausable to cut and run tomorrow from ME oil without drastic consequences, however during a time of war sacrifices must be made. So maybe we send out drillers today and within a month or so we've got oil flowing from the north at a cheaper price than it is now. This eliminates two problems Bush has, dependency on the ME and the high rise in oil prices (which is part of the former problem). If Bush did this his ratings would shoot through the roof.
Ok, so now that I'm done dreaming let's get down to a more realistic approach. We as readers of Daniel Pipes (and also of Jihad Watch, Freedom Watch, and many more such websites dedicated to the exposure of Islam for what it is) should get connected on a realistic, local level. What if there was a way to find out when and where all of these islamic protests were happening and posted them on a website that people like us could check. Our next course of action would be to counter protest whenever possible the actions of islamists in this country. Quell there voices, and if there is media attention, raise the alarm as to what's really going on. Lead people to websites like this so they can see the real danger that is facing our country. It's not Paco from Mexico, it's Ahmed Muhammad (etc.) from [enter islamic country here]. You want to route out the terrorists, tell Paco and Jose that Ahkmed is the reason that the borders are closing and security is so tight, every illegal in this country will rise up and stomp out organizations like I.T.S., CAIR, and others of their ilk.
One final thought, let's raise the alarm with our senators and congressmen, flooding their offices with letters and e-mails, and their phone lines with calls will make a HUGE statement. To all who still believe: GIVE ME LIBERTY, OR GIVE ME DEATH!
