Fading smokescreens

Reader comment on item: Government for Sale [to the Saudis]

Submitted by Vic Coffey (United States), Dec 4, 2002 at 02:44

It is inescapeable that a major confrontation happens between Islam and the rest of the world. Terror will only get worse as children in Islamic countries are taught to hate us. Either we confront them or our children will have to.

The British gave us some rest from them after WWII, but modern communication has enabled them to unite once again. Not as an empire, but by proxy through rogue organizations. The smokescreens are starting to fade, no matter how much our government throws them.
