Reader comment on item: America's Rude Islamists

I disagree on the statement made in the last paragraph. I am of opinion that such inhuman and undemocratic behaviour of individual and group shows two very important things rather than one only which you have mentioned.

1. It facilitates Americans understanding of true nature of Islamism.

2. It also shows the burgeoning confidence of Islamists who no longer think they must work within the system.

India has suffered Islamism for so long. There had been riots and non-muslims used to be killed like goats. Because, these killings were in the interest of ruling party to consolidates its position, such heinous crime continued in India for approximately forty years after independence in 1947. Even today, such inhuman treatment and incidences occurs like one happened in Godhra in Gujrat in 2002. But these incidences encountered a brake when Hindus also rose against those atrocities and killed the Muslims in bulk. The similar thing happened in Gujrat after Godhra. The Muslim communities remain in control after these attacks and counterattacks.

Indian intelligentsia is still influenced in general with the biased approach towards whole issues. The proof was available in latest English daily edition. ‘Times of India' did good thing by copying the news from ‘Washington Post'. This news was reported on Sunday 16 Apr 2005 in WP. On Monday, it came in India. The TOI did not forget to take the comments from Tehran. Tehran also shamelessly comments on such report and declare it as psychological warfare of USA. Tehran never feels shy in categorizing this news as ‘US helplessness'. I am lost with impression that why this world is not conscious regarding existence of invisible enemies and pleasure of visible enemies. There are two kinds of threats against humanity working in this world. One is visible while other invisible. Any sane can decide about the quantum of threats from these two kind of enemies.

It is very easy to read, write, comment or analyze about these visible enemies. Every one has little or rather more knowledge of this enemy. People do not feel shy or hesitant in commenting or even advising these enemies. But, my point is what is happening about the invisible enemies. We hardly have knowledge about invisible enemies. They remain hidden. They do their operation from forests or mountaina. They are always running from one place to other. Their identity is not clear. Their supreme commander is hardly known. He never does open press conferences. No body can talk to them. No body knows much about them. Very few things we know about these invisible enemies. The only thing we know about them that they are very religious person and fighting the battle from their hidden dens for the cause of religion. They are fighting for the people belonging to their religion.

On the other hand, visible enemies may be secular and fight a battle for everyone irrespective of any religion but invisible enemy will fight a battle for the people of their own religion only. Invisible enemy has authority to declare attack on any part of the world. They do not feel shy in attacking anywhere in the world whether it is Ahmedabad, Varanasi, Bali, New York or England. They never bother to ensure whether the people are innocent or guilty. Everyone on this earth is their enemy. Anybody who does not follow their rule or misrule remains their enemy. Surprisingly no body question on their actions rather no body can question. Who is going to listen you? You have to listen their stupid tapes or you have to witness their stupid videos. BBC is even forced to telecast them to show their openness and frankness. Has anybody thought about the human? Has anybody bothered about humanity? All are there to rule. Who rules whom?

There is nothing wrong in this world to talk about human rights, consciousness or moral. We keep asking about these things from visible enemy. Do we remain conscious about invisible enemy in similar way? When Afghanistan or Iraq changed their guard, we found similar situations of self egoism. For many days, spokesman of Afghanistan kept on giving press conference from Pakistan on everyday war. Everyday they continued telling this world that they are going to win this war. All of a sudden, everything vanished. Afghanistan changed it's guard. Similarly, Saddam kept on telling till American entered in Baghdad. Saddam was never lost with words. He kept telling that Americans will face the consequences. Ultimately, nothing happened. Saddam ran away. The guard in Iraq changed quietly. Iraq had elections for the first time in its history. Now Muslims in Iraq are experiencing democracy and freedom which they had never experienced ever. What is the tragedy of falsehood? Why the nation remains blind to reality? The same thing is happening with Hamas. The Palestinian does not have even a bank. Why not some Muslim leaders come forward and work for establishing a bank in Palestinian territory. Why are they fighting ugly war through the life of innocent people all across the world? Who is going to reply? Poor remain poor. Deprived remain deprived. Who is trying to lead whom? Awake Muslim awake! Do not destroy yourself!
