Mr. Pipes- first a word of appreciation for all your excelent work. Just a thought after reading this article. Although I am glad to see that Ms. Bier and her collegues now feel the need to be cautious in their work, I fear that what they have yet to realize is that as accademics teaching impressionable young people they have a responsibility to be honest and balanced. Although they may now be cautious- they use that to once again promote an anti-Jewish, anti-Israel agenda- "see those powerful Jews controling the media, campus, etc. silence the oppressed." How do we instill in the accademic world what seems to be a lost love, and pursuit of, truth?
Where on earth is a responsible campus adminsitration with a backbone? Or have they too all been hoodwinked by the "oppression theology" school of accademia?
