I am an employee of one of the Ethan Allen Plants and I am apalled that a big chunk of Ethan Allen profits are going to terrorist groups by our own CEO. It makes me wonder how much more I Don't Know concerning our higher management, and it also brings to light reasons that our pay has been cut time and again, more is demanded of us for less money.
Ethan Allen has always been a great company to work for. They've been very competitive in wages, and benefits, But over the past couple of years, management is gradually and constantly making changes that are not for the employees benefit, but it evidently is cushioning SOMEONE'S pockets and bank accounts,. It's really sad day when we work for an American made company that has been a strong hold in the furniture world, who threatens us with statements that our jobs are going to China and Mexico, but all along they forget to inform us that our money is going to support terrorist groups that can and may very well turn one us and start killing us. Are We really in ignorance supporting terrorism ourselves if we have this information and refuse to share what we know with others? I will begin looking for another job, and when I find one, I will begin sharing all my information with my co workers and anyone else who will listen. If you have any information on this and can help me along I would welcome your knowledge. Let's do our part to stop terrorism and let's begin with Ethan Allen's CEO.
