Hind, you sound like a reasonable sort of person. How do you think you'd fare if you chose to stand up for your ideas with, say, less reasonable Muslims .. for instance the ones freaking out in posted responses to Dr. Pipes article (above this one) "Finding Allah in All the Wrong Places". It's one thing to stand up to people who will murder you if they disagree and quite another to explain how reasonable you are to other reasonable people. I challenge you to respond to the angry ignoramuses who posted their comments to that essay.

The world needs one more Muslim saying "Islam is not what Islam is" like we need a hole in the head. Do the right thing Hind.
