Disappointing Russia

The world is straining under the assault that we humans have made on it.
Eastern Europe and Russia in particular have in recent years shown a glimmer of hope with declining populations.

But of course, there is one population that seems to grow wherever it is. That of muslims. They have more children than agnostic or Christian folk. No doubt due to some quranic endorsement of childbearing..

Hopefully the light of reason will shine into the darkened corners of relgious dogma and help Russia and every nation for that matter to come to grips Earth's problems. The bone of contention I have with Islam and other religions on this point is the complacency that is engendered by teachings of God intervening on behalf of man. It creates an environment where it is Ok to polute, stress resources, overpopulate etc because God will fix it..

yeah well what if he doesn't?
