I was only asking why YOU had brought up this quote to your friend Libyan on this board while you were coaching him on how to deal with us. You act as if I don't realize you were quoting Confucius. Then you dodged my question entirely.

Next you decided to try to make me sound crazy or mentally unstable for asking the question.

Finally, you came up with a long story about how you had taken a class where you debated many other participants and someone had taught you this as a strategy in arguing, and you were simply relaying this strategy to Libyan. All the while, implying that I am paranoid and that I somehow think you are trying to steal Europe.

Now, you have somehow done a web search and found that an American president once made this statement also. Geez, you're giving me a headache! That's five different approaches to one simple question. Me thinks you doth protest a little too much!! By the way, do they offer a refresher course in that class you were taking to promote understanding and cooperation between different cultures and faiths?

I appreciate a good joke just as much as the next guy, but you must be joking when you say that you work in an international organization and the nature of your job demands understanding other religions and culture. Let's just agree to disagree on this point. I thought it was a pretty revealing statement and you say it wasn't anything like that.

By the way, I am not Sword, but I admit we often see things alike and when the posts are displayed, we have both responded to the same comment or a certain aspect of a statement has gotten our attention. I cringe every time that happens because I know what you are all thinking. I believe he is from London and I am an American.
